The Amanieh Project, located in the distinguished Shahrak Gharb neighborhood, is a testament to contemporary residential design where functionality meets artistry. At the core of this project lies the kitchen—a space traditionally considered utilitarian but here transformed into a centerpiece of both social interaction and architectural expression. Conceived and executed by the Diplomat Group, the kitchen was designed to redefine how residents experience daily life, turning routine activities into moments of aesthetic engagement and seamless functionality.
From the outset, the ambition was clear: the kitchen should not merely serve as a workspace, but as a sculptural and social anchor for the home. Rather than confining the kitchen to a conventional linear or corner layout, the design team approached the spatial challenge with creativity, devising a layout that opens, curves, and interacts fluidly with the surrounding dining and living areas. The result is a kitchen that occupies a commanding position in the spatial narrative of the residence, visually engaging while remaining highly practical.
Design Story
The conceptual framework of the Amanieh kitchen draws from the idea that every constraint can be an opportunity for innovation. Traditional limitations, such as narrow floor plans or adjacent walls, were embraced rather than fought against. The cabinetry and counters were strategically arranged to guide circulation, define work zones, and create visual rhythm, transforming what might have been a utilitarian space into a dynamic focal point. In this way, the kitchen bridges the gap between utility and aesthetic delight, blending practical necessity with sculptural elegance.
Architecture Characteristics
At the heart of the kitchen is its cabinetry, custom-designed to meet the highest standards of both form and function. Crafted with precision, the cabinets employ high-quality wood veneers that convey warmth and richness while ensuring durability. Surfaces are paired with high-performance materials—resilient countertops, integrated backsplashes, and concealed appliances—that not only support the rigorous demands of daily use but also reinforce a sense of refinement.
