CHENARAN
The Chenaran Project is a narrative of precision, elegance, and transformation—an architectural and interior design journey where materiality became the language of expression, and where the kitchen, often reduced to functionality, was elevated into a sculptural and social centerpiece. Conceived and designed by Roshanak Tehrani, and realized with uncompromising attention to execution, the project is situated in Elahieh’s Chenaran district, one of Tehran’s most prestigious neighborhoods.
From the very beginning, the project carried the ambition of creating not only a residence, but an environment where architecture would become an extension of identity. Every detail was treated as a gesture of refinement, and every decision was weighed against the question of timelessness: would it endure, not just in form but in feeling?
Design Story
The setting of Elahieh is one of both privilege and responsibility. Known for its greenery, refined atmosphere, and architectural distinction, it is a neighborhood that sets the stage for elevated design. To design in Elahieh is to engage with context—an environment where every building and interior must respond to a fabric of elegance.
Architecture Characteristics
For the Chenaran Project, this context became a foundation. The design was not conceived in isolation, but in dialogue with its surroundings. It reflects the calm sophistication of Elahieh while asserting its individuality through material boldness and sculptural form.
At the heart of the Chenaran Project is the application of Elegant Black marble from the Avandad collection. Chosen for both countertops and wall surfaces, this stone became the visual and conceptual anchor of the design.
