The Parnian Project is a narrative of transformation and collaboration—an architectural and interior design journey where limitations became opportunities, where vision was elevated by trust, and where a simple kitchen was reimagined into the sculptural heart of a home. Commissioned by Mr. Parnianpour and brought to life by the creative and executional team at Bocaveli Studio, the project demonstrates how careful attention to design, materiality, and human experience can create not just a functional environment, but a lasting expression of elegance and identity

From the outset, the project was marked by a remarkable quality: the close and genuine collaboration of the client. Rather than imposing boundaries or resisting innovation, Mr. Parnianpour engaged with the design team with openness and trust, enabling the dialogue to be constructive and inspiring. This spirit of partnership shaped every stage of the project, allowing ideas to flourish and ensuring that the final outcome reflected both the creative ambitions of the designers and the personal aspirations of the client.

Design Story

The project is located in Elahieh, one of Tehran’s most distinguished districts, a neighborhood renowned for its refined atmosphere, greenery, and elevated lifestyle. The context of Elahieh introduced both opportunity and responsibility: the design needed to engage with its surroundings while maintaining a clear, independent identity. It was essential that the project not only resonate with the sophistication of its location but also stand as a contemporary architectural statement in its own right.

Architecture Characteristics

This duality—dialogue with context and assertion of individuality—was embedded into the DNA of the project. The residence reflects the calm sophistication of Elahieh while simultaneously introducing a bold reinterpretation of the kitchen as the symbolic anchor of the home.

Material selection played a decisive role in reinforcing the conceptual vision. The cabinetry was finished in neutral, matte tones that evoke calmness and sophistication, while ensuring that the space remained adaptable to daily life. These muted surfaces acted as a canvas for light, responding dynamically to natural and artificial illumination throughout the day.
